News and updates June 2026 İlknur is currently under enormous pressure. The little money she is able to earn at the moment is only enough to cover her rent. Right now, she cannot afford even the most basic necessities for her cats, including food and cat litter. Because of this difficult situation, she is now trying to find safe homes for some of her cats, as she can no longer provide the level of care they need at the moment. Their vaccinations and parasite treatments are also already months overdue and urgently need to be renewed. At the same time, İlknur is dealing with a lot in her private life due to serious health problems within her family. Despite all of this, she has not given up on the animals and is still doing everything she can for them. But the situation has become so strained that she urgently needs support to continue caring for her cats and to get them the medical protection they need. Any help can make a difference now – for food, cat litter, and urgently needed vaccinations and parasite treatments.

Every day, I care for stray animals — feeding them, comforting them, and doing everything I can to give them the medical attention they desperately need. The work is hard, especially when it comes to covering vet bills, surgeries, and medicines, but these animals have no one else.

Animal lovers face many challenges in Turkey: strict regulations, rising inflation, and very low wages. Despite all this, I continue to fight for these voiceless souls.

Arven suddenly stopped eating and drinking on June 15. Her condition became so concerning that she had to be admitted to the clinic immediately.

The first blood tests show that Arven is severely dehydrated and has a weakened immune system. She is now receiving IV fluids and supportive treatment. According to the veterinarian, she will need to stay at the clinic for at least a week.
