Alara Animal Rescue
Alara is a dedicated animal rescuer who cannot walk past a sick animal without offering help. Despite her own health challenges, she does everything possible to save as many animals as she can.
Together with her mother and sister, Alara cares for numerous cats and dogs in Istanbul and Isparta, Turkey. In her home, she looks after 22 cats and one dog, while another 21 cats live in her garden. Additionally, she is taking care of a cat at a veterinary clinic that has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). She also has two blind cats in her home: one suffers from chronic bronchitis and herpes virus, while the other has chronic sinusitis.

Alara and her family work tirelessly to rescue as many dogs as possible. In Turkey, dogs are especially vulnerable to abuse and killings. Following a new law passed in August 2024, many municipal shelters have adopted a cruel euthanasia policy. Currently, Alara is caring for several puppies suffering from scabies.
At just 25 years old, Alara manages all of this on her own, but she urgently needs support. To cover the veterinary bills for the animals she rescues, she relies on donations.
