The story behind 3P

I lived in Turkey for 13 years and I took care of dozens of stray animals myself. In fact, I went through a very hard time when FiP (Feline… ) hit a lot of the cats in my garden. There was no cure back then. I lost all of those who got sick. In one week, I lost six of them. I was devastated and helpless.

I started a private fundraiser when I saw the first Instagram accounts fighting for cats with FIP three years ago. During this time other accounts also joined our fundraiser group; people who needed food for their cats or dogs, or help with providing them with all kinds of treatment.
By 2023, I had been doing pro bono work for three years and had reached the point where I had to decide whether I could go on or not.

Firstly, the vast amount of accounts I work with meant lots of money coming into a private bank account.
Then, the time it took to communicate with the rescuers and the donors, keep sheets up to date, transfer money and coordinate help started to resemble a full-time job.


I felt that I could not just abandon everyone; and so here we are…..
