August Story 2026
Lucifer, Buse's Paws
In 2021, we discovered our baby in the garden. His eyes were sealed shut due to severe infections, and he was crying out with desperate meows. He was only about 1.5 months old at the time.
We immediately took him to the clinic, where test results revealed he had Giardia, juvenile FIP, and was positive for coronavirus. Lucifer was also diagnosed with calicivirus and herpesvirus. The veterinarians informed us that his chances of survival were very low, so he was placed in intensive care right away. For nine days, he fought for his life.
Miraculously, our baby pulled through. The deep bond that formed between us made it impossible for me to let him go. For the past 4.5 years, he has been the little prince of our home.
Over time, he developed urinary tract problems and required catheterization. He was also diagnosed with thickening of the heart muscle. He undergoes thorough check-ups every year. Despite everything he has faced, he remains healthy, energetic, playful, and full of love. He has simply become a cat that requires regular medical monitoring.
