November Story 2026
Romeo, Bidik Animal Rescue
The Rescuer:
“I found Romeo while he was searching for food in the trash. He was extremely weak and ill, so I took him to the clinic immediately. He had a microchip, but unfortunately, we were unable to trace his former owners—the phone number was no longer active, and there was no address information.
Romeo’s bloodwork was concerning, so a coronavirus titration test was performed. The diagnosis was FIP. He would have suffered and died if I hadn’t found him. It’s also possible that his owners abandoned him because he was sick. It sounds cruel, but sadly, some people really do that.
With the help of donors, he received an 84-day treatment, which was completed. Today, Romeo lives with me and keeps my apartment on its toes. The local Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry informed me that the microchip registration can be transferred into my name if the finder adopts the cat.
That is how Romeo officially became my cat. Without treatment, he would have died—but he was lucky. Today, he is healthy and happy.”
