You should know how your donation is used. We explain what supports the animals and their carers, what 3P needs to organise this help and which fees payment providers charge.
What makes reliable help possible.
Our aim is to use as much of each donation as possible for animals in need and the people who care for them. We also need to pay for payment processing, banking, insurance, communication, technical systems and the coordination of support.
Depending on the donation method, 3P allocates 10% or 12.5% to these organisational and infrastructure costs. External fees charged by payment providers or donation platforms are deducted separately.

Bank transfer and PayPal
We can provide a donation receipt on request. Please contact us with your name, donation amount and date of donation.
Donations through platforms
For donations through betterplace.org, the platform provides donation documents. You can find its current process in the betterplace.org help centre (DE).
For GoFundMe, the available receipt depends on the fundraiser and how the platform handles the donation. If you need a receipt, please ask us.
