For eight years, I have been an individual volunteer for stray animals in Istanbul; for eight years, I have been consistently feeding, treating, sterilizing, and rehoming animals. All cats in my feeding areas on the streets are sterilized, especially the females, and I never miss feeding them every evening. My clinic debts have increased, and I’m currently unable to pay them with my own means.
I also take care of nine cats at my own home. Most stray cats in my street area are seven or eight years old.
