Ilgin tells Lily’s story:

“Lily is about nine years old. She did not come to us alone; one day, we found her eight newborn kittens abandoned in the garden of our workplace. Shortly after discovering the kittens, we found Lily as well. We couldn’t leave her there, so we brought both Lily and her babies to the garden of our home.

Unfortunately, fate was not kind to this little family. Six of the kittens did not survive. Two of them fought very hard for their lives and they made it. Those days were filled with worry, hope, and quiet prayers.

Today, Lily lives happily in our garden. She is safe, well-cared for, and at peace. After experiencing so much loss, she has finally found stability and calm.

Her story represents the struggles many cats face and highlights the importance of compassion, responsibility, and timely assistance.”
