The Rescuer:
“For the past seven years, I have volunteered on the streets of Istanbul to help stray animals. I regularly feed them, arrange for neutering, and provide medical care. Thanks to the support of many kind people, I have been able to rescue and improve the lives of dozens of animals.
In my profile picture, you can see Kulaksiz, a cat I rescued from the streets. She had lost one ear due to cruelty and was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). After her initial treatment, she sadly suffered a relapse. However, we are hopeful that this time she will overcome the illness for good.
At the end of August 2025, Cilvenaz joined us—a little cat who is also battling FIP. She is currently undergoing treatment, and we are doing everything possible to give her a chance at a healthy life.
