Minnak was born in May 2024 in the Ümraniye-Armağanevler district of Istanbul. Her mother sought shelter among wooden planks in the garden of a small carpentry workshop, where she gave birth to her kittens.

The little family was found and rescued by Selda from Zelda Animal Rescue. Minnak and her two siblings have since found loving homes. Their mother was spayed, allowing her to live her life on the streets without the worries of raising more kittens.

Even as a tiny kitten, Minnak was curious and brave—and she still is today. As a calico cat, she carries her luck in her fur; the three colours represent joy, courage, and hope—just like her.
