Paws' Lives (Patilerin yasami)

In a small village near Bartın, Havva cares for 16 cats all by herself. She leads a quiet, modest life and relies on assistance for people with disabilities for her livelihood. Despite her limited resources, she dedicates herself to the well-being of the cats, feeding them daily and arranging medical treatment when they are sick or injured.

Some of the cats live indoors, while others have the freedom to roam outside. They enjoy the best of both worlds: the liberty to explore and the security of having a home to return to—a life filled with dignity and safety.

In rural areas like this, there is minimal infrastructure and almost no support for animal welfare, making Havva’s commitment all the more valuable.
