News and updates February 2026
Fehnur from Sifa Mirac Animal Rescue has been caring for the black cat Siyah İnci for a long time. After a previous surgery, Siyah İnci had to remain in the clinic. The clinic charged 46,000 TL for the initial surgery, hospital stay, and treatment and stated that Siyah İnci would only be released after full payment.
While Fehnur was trying to raise the remaining amount, another serious setback occurred: Siyah İnci’s already operated leg broke again. To prevent further pain and repeated complications, the decision was made, in consultation with the veterinarian, to amputate the leg. The amputation added an additional 9,000 TL to the clinic costs.
As a result, the total clinic costs for Siyah İnci now amount to 55,000 TL.
So far, 20,000 TL have been paid to the clinic.
➡️ 35,000 TL (approx.675€) are still needed to release Siyah İnci from the clinic.
Separately and unrelated to Siyah İnci’s case, Fehnur also had to cover 9,000 TL for another cat at a different veterinary clinic during the same period.
Fehnur has decided to take Siyah İnci into her own home after the surgery, as she does not want her to return to the streets.
The rescuer:
“All living creatures hold value to me, but the animals on the streets have a profound impact on my conscience.
My purpose in life is to touch their lives. I strive to ensure they receive necessary medical care and have a warm, safe home. I am a dedicated volunteer advocating for street animals.”
