Sveta has sent us a new update about Naz. The cat was diagnosed with stones in her bladder and had to undergo surgery. The stones were identified as calcium oxalate stones and have been sent to a laboratory for further analysis.
The blood tests, complete blood count and surgery cost a total of 20,000 Turkish lira. So far, Sveta has received 3,000 lira in support from three people, meaning that most of the treatment costs are still outstanding.
At the same time, Sveta is caring for many other sick cats who regularly need medication and injections. Managing all of these ongoing veterinary expenses on her own is extremely difficult.
Sveta and her cats still urgently need support. Every donation helps cover the cost of Naz’s surgery and the treatment of the other sick animals in her care.
The Rescuer:
“For 28 years, I have been helping cats in need on the streets. I have treated sick ones, raised orphaned kittens, and bottle-fed many newborns rescued from shelters whose eyes were not even open yet. I’ve found homes for many of them, but those I couldn’t find homes for stayed with me. Because of this, I have a large number of cats at home. I also care for
others in the garden, on the streets, and in parks. Currently, I am feeding around 80 cats, some of whom are sick. I need support and help, both for food and for medical treatment. 🙏🐾💗”
