Transparency
As a non-profit organisation, we want to be open about how donations are used at Precious Paw Patrons. Our aim is to direct as much of each donation as possible to animals in need and the people who rescue and care for them on the ground.
At the same time, reliable help also requires essential organisational and infrastructure costs. These include payment processing, banking, insurance, communication, technical systems, and the coordination of support.
Depending on the donation method, 10% or 12.5% of a donation is allocated to these organisational and infrastructure costs. Additional external fees charged by payment providers or donation platforms are deducted separately by the respective provider.

Bank Transfer
Bank transfers may involve fees charged by your bank. Payments made through a Wise account are usually free of charge. For bank transfer donations, 3P allocates 10% to necessary organisational and infrastructure costs.

Bank transfers are usually the most cost-effective option.
If you would like your donation to support a specific project, please include the project name in the payment reference.
Donation receipts
For donations made via bank transfer or PayPal, we are happy to provide a donation receipt upon request.
Please contact us with your name, donation amount, and date of donation.
For donations via betterplace.org, donation receipts are issued directly by betterplace.org.
They are usually available for download approximately 30 days after the donation, provided the required information was submitted.
For donations via GoFundMe, the availability of a tax-relevant receipt depends on the specific fundraiser and platform setup.
